Question 3

Is there a contract or cancellation fee?

Accepted Answer

No contracts and no cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time. We believe our results speak for themselves.

Question 4

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

None. The price you see is the price you pay. Interior inspections and re-service visits are included with the Essential Pest Plan. Monthly mosquito, flea, tick, and fire ant treatments are available through the Outdoor Protection Add-On.

Question 5

What pests do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We cover 39+ common Florida pests including ants, cockroaches, spiders, silverfish, earwigs, millipedes, centipedes, crickets, and more — including costly-to-control species.

Question 6

Do you treat for mosquitoes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Outdoor Protection Add-On provides monthly mosquito barrier treatments, plus flea, tick, and fire ant coverage. We target shaded foliage, exterior resting areas, and breeding zones around your property.

Question 7

Do you remove wasp nests and cobwebs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We remove cobwebs and active or inactive wasp nests from the exterior of your home up to 20 feet high. This is included with every scheduled visit.

Question 8

What if pests come back between visits?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 100% Service Guarantee. If pests return between your scheduled visits, we'll come back and re-treat at absolutely no additional charge.

Question 9

Do you treat the inside of my home?

Accepted Answer

Interior inspections and treatments are available per request at no extra cost. Just let us know when scheduling and we'll inspect and treat inside as needed.

Question 10

Are your products safe for pets and children?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We offer full botanical product options for households with pets, children, or chemical sensitivities. All products we use are carefully selected for both effectiveness and safety.

Question 11

What does 'eco-friendly' mean for EcoPest?

Accepted Answer

Our process prioritizes natural, botanical solutions — exploring all non-toxic methods first, including physical barriers, traps, and natural repellents, before any chemical intervention.

Question 12

Do I need to leave my home during treatment?

Accepted Answer

For exterior-only treatments, you do not need to leave. If an interior treatment is requested, we recommend staying out for about 30–60 minutes after application as a precaution, though our products are formulated to be safe once dry.

Question 13

What pests are most common in Palm Coast in the summer?

Accepted Answer

Summer in Palm Coast brings peak activity for mosquitoes, fire ants, German cockroaches, and ghost ants — all thriving in Florida's heat and humidity. Our monthly Outdoor Protection Add-On helps reduce mosquito, flea, tick, and fire ant activity during the most active season.

Question 14

Do pests in Palm Coast stay active year-round?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike northern states, Florida's mild winters mean pests like cockroaches, ants, and spiders remain active all year. Mosquitoes slow down slightly in December and January but never fully disappear. That's why we recommend year-round service rather than one-time treatments.

Question 15

Why are there so many fire ants in Palm Coast?

Accepted Answer

Fire ants thrive in Florida's warm, sandy soil — exactly the type found throughout Palm Coast and Flagler County. They build mounds quickly after rain and can spread across a yard in weeks. We treat fire ant colonies directly as part of our pest control plans, targeting the queen to eliminate the colony at the source.

Question 16

What attracts mosquitoes to Palm Coast yards?

Accepted Answer

Palm Coast's proximity to the Intracoastal Waterway, retention ponds, and frequent afternoon rain showers create ideal mosquito breeding conditions. Even a bottle cap of standing water can produce hundreds of mosquitoes. We treat resting areas in shrubs and shade, and target standing water zones to break the breeding cycle.

Question 17

Are palmetto bugs (Florida cockroaches) covered in your plan?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The American cockroach — commonly called a palmetto bug in Florida — is one of the most common pests we treat in Palm Coast homes. They enter through gaps around pipes, doors, and garage seals. Our exterior barrier treatments and interior inspections target entry points and harborage areas.

Question 18

Do you treat for ghost ants and crazy ants, which are common in Flagler County?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ghost ants and Caribbean crazy ants are both prevalent in Palm Coast and throughout Flagler County. They're notoriously difficult to control with store-bought products because splitting the colony makes the problem worse. We use targeted baiting strategies that eliminate the entire colony, not just the foragers you see.

Question 19

How does Florida's rainy season affect pest activity around Palm Coast?

Accepted Answer

Florida's rainy season (June through September) drives pests indoors as their outdoor habitats flood. Ants, roaches, and spiders seek higher ground — often inside your home. Mosquito populations also spike dramatically. We time our service visits to stay ahead of these seasonal surges, and our re-service guarantee means we'll come back at no charge if activity increases between visits.

Question 20
